your problem seems to be - no, your problem is that you yourself use MMS in a way that's technically covered by the specification, but totally out of this world. i feel for you, because usually it's me who is in this situation and confronted with people who just couldn't care less. but going as far as saying that the ability to send pictures with sound "is one of the main basic functionality of MMS" and "the one that is used most" doesn't really add to your credibility. i wouldn't even know how to do this with my symbian phone, and i'm one of those who use MMS for everything. (including videos and multipart slide shows for those who stayed at home.) my personal opinion is you should accept that fMMS covers 99% of what people use MMS for very, very well. it's the most popular application for the N900. saying it lacks certain functionality for corner cases and could always be improved is something everybody here in this forum would probably agree on, including frals. saying that fMMS "sucks", though, is the most bizarre statement i could think of in this context.
