They've already announced a version of XP will be running on the Eee soon.

All of this is possible because these computers are largely x86 machines. So it's largely a matter of getting the right device drivers, as well as stripping away the crud that's attached to a modern Windows installation.

Makes me wonder if the Nokia tablets would have seen XP Tablet Edition ported to them if Nokia hadn't decided on its own ARM-based hardware design. Question is, would you use XP on your Nokia tablet?

(I would, if only so I can run Office. I'd probably dual-boot.)

Please dont get microsoft into the tablets. I cant even imagine the xp screen on my beloved tablet.
