I totally agree with that and wasn't trying to single your post out. But somehow this post seems, more considerate and compassionate ..... and less shock em away..

I think it really important that people know what they're getting into, and they can choose to continue ... like you mentioned. So please don't think I was ever saying they shouldn't be educated (I always appreciate input from folks with experience), just perhaps with less neggy tone.

It's just best to realize _before_ they start anything that it's a humongous amount of work. If they realize how much work there is to do and still wish to continue then it's just all the better for them, and if they realize it's too much for them they can use the energy for something else instead.
