I'm just going to wait for Creator 2.1 then.

Ive installed and reinstalled the Creator atleast 7 times now and everytime a different problem - Ive had errors from missing dlls or errors during installation, to "Qt Quick" options missing from the "New file or project" menu. I've installed it with removing old settings first, with keeping old settings, manually changing classpath, installing into a different directory, I give it up - it's killed my monthly internet allowance. I downloaded the offline installer, but for what ever reason the downloaded file doesn't run.. lol one of those days.. 48 hours.

I know you asked me in the mfakecaller thread, nath, about how I felt about developing with Qt and I hadn't answered yet.. I'll leave that judgement to another day maybe :P

in any case, I'll have to wait until i can get Qt Creator installed back on my machine before continuing with the original Qt Quick issue - apologies for the hung thread

Edit: Using the bits and pieces Ive already downloaded, I put them together into a Qt frankenstein monster and it works Im using part of the sdk files from the Qt sdk download page version, part from a forum Nokia linked download version, and I link to those through the Qt Creator the Nokia trainer gave to me at the Early Bird conference. I can confirm Ive written and tested a few Qt Quick apps this morning and it seems the original problem is solved Thx all for helping too
