Okay. Now i've downloaded the maemo_flasher-3.5_2.5.2.2_i386.deb and also installed it.

I'm stuck with option 1 ("sudo dpkg -i <flasher-package-name>") i'm about to download the image file on http://tabletsdev.maemo.org/nokia_N900/ - as you can see the page is down

Isn't that what you mean or is it me thats totally wrong? I have installed the package (Flasher.deb) with application manager so i can skip that option. Right?
