Can I ask whether the files in the first post are the most updated version because I notice during the thread there are various new files uploaded. If not could I suggest you edit the first post to have the most up to date version as it is difficult having to go through the whole thread looking for the last version. Also I suggest you edit the instructions to say at the beginning that you should uninstall swappolube before running script. I followed your instructions ran the patch and got to the end of the instructions and found that I should have uninstalled swappolube first.
