I'm (somewhat) proud to announce my very first serious project in programming ever. I have until now built up a stable ground to start from and already got some responses from a thread here on TMO and to my email. Therefor I think it's about time for a announcement to get the strings combined.

The whole idea of savepress is to easily toggle a power-saving-mode with the right side lock key. It's an enhancement of Longpress which is created by Matan, all props to him!


Savepress
Current version: 0.5-8 (extras-devel)
Info: A single script which reads a configfile and runs some commands when activated through dbus-scripts.
Functions:
*Set limits for the frequencies or lock a single frequency (needs kernel-config and kernel-config-settings).
*Toggle Wifi or disconnect GPRS.
*Toggle the cellular radio (i.e the phone signal).
*Toggle a GSM/2g-only mode.
*Disable bluetooth.
*Toggle screen brightness (has to be set manually).
*Toggle FM Transmitter (has to be set manually).
*Set the number of seconds you would like to hold down the key to toggle the script.
*A button (which doesn't make anything when pressed) is visible in the power-key meny when active.
