But I get SO tired of seeing Slender constantly repeat something along the lines of "you can't complain if you ever installed something from extras testing or devel"!

So let me repeat what I say: If you don't use apps from extras testing or devel, you aren't using your N900 properly and you should consider getting rid of it.

As to how difficult it is to keep your N900 running decently if you run apps from testing or devel, another claim Slender makes, it just isn't true. I have no problem making my N900 run decently. I pay no attention to whether apps are from testing and devel. I never have, going back to my N800, N810 and N900.

I'm also overclocking, btw, one of the great advances in using the N900.
