I prefer the openssh method but forgot the root password on one of the n900's I take care of. So I installed rootsh temporarily and I ran into the same issue.

Another good reason to remove it again is to avoid leaving passwordless root access around if all you needed root access for was to do something quick and don't normally need root on a regular basis. T-Unit is being very prudent IMHO.

Adding the ; ... to the end of the prerm script did the trick. However, this package should be fixed in the repos as this is a definite bug.
