Well with v3.1 yes it's not working automatically. When mycontacts and fastSMS is 1st installed upon opening fastSMS MyContacts won't work and fastSMS will prompt you to install MyContacts.

Workaround is you need to start first MyContacts, close it, open fastSMS then should work by then. But when device is restarted/shutdown the said steps above needs to be redone.
