Well this problem occured for me after flashing my mobile as i had corrupted it to the extent it wouldnt boot up. Well after flashing I had installed kernel power (that is the first app that i need) and then proceeded with everything else... Then after editin systemui.xml, i tried to reboot and the problem was visible. Basically I have no clue whether Kernel power is to blame or I am :P
