what hindsight? I was referring to the facts that were there since 2009 (pre N900 release) and expectable outcome was pretty obivous but not 100% certain. now when the obivous outcome is here (a bit later than I expected), I am being hindsighted?

e: a simple tmo example pre N900 release:

a) N900 will be around for an year and after that its successor will replace the device

b) the successors OS can be ported to N900 ignoring clear announcements about hardware limitations (multitouch, drm)

and after meego release:

a) N900 will be used for application development etc for meego platform just like Aava (http://www.engadget.com/2010/02/16/a...type-hands-on/)

b) N900 will get full meego and support from Nokia from this point to infinity!!!

unfortunately in here the option b is announced by someone and taken for granted by the rest. then when option a is actually confirmed, the ranting starts. and because of the "b-mentality", there has not been room for statements supporting the option a because the people supporting "b-mentality" are loud and good spammers.
