I 100% agree.

I think this is a fantastic idea. In fact I've written about it before:

I wish that there were more bluetooth 'handsets' that would act as a small holdable phone with simple information (eg. caller ID) that you could use instead of interacting directly with a Tab.

With this type of a device, you would be able to keep the Tab in your bag, and have the ease and mobility of a mobile phone, without needing two completely different devices.
