Regarding your edit, what is the point of havinga professional camera if all you can do with it is use it as a camera (and paper weight) ? I got decent video camera, it's sitting on a shelf gathering dust, while the N900 keeps my fingers (and pockets) warm everyday, and if i need to photograph or video somthing while i'm on the street i would never reach my video camera in time, but my N900 is always there.
