well, i have my 770 returned by expansys! as advised by exps ,i packed up my unresponsive tablet and sent it tuesday by special delivery. received the replacement thurs morning! quite a fast turnaround. trouble is, it was returned in my original box with a secondhand battery all scratched and no adaptors to plug into mains. put the battery in and seems to be working ok.the new one ,seems to be just that,brand new. thing is they said on friday they definately don't have any more! they seem to have got one pretty quick for me! am awaiting response about adaptors and poss refund of the return.don't see why i should be out of pocket.
hope this one lasts. i was wondering if one reason it developed wsod, maybe because in my attempts to reinstall ukmp,which wouldn't install i tried the red pill mode. then it seemed to have every bloody application that was devised for the thing installed! don't know how that one happened! think i'll just take it easy and use it what it was designed for in the first place as a good portable web browser until i learn stuff.
i'll be keeping an eye out for reductions of the 800, i am sure before xmas,what with iphone coming out we will see the 800 below £130.
