got this working with mouse (5-buttons opt intelli MS), keyboard (ny brand) and a NTFS-HDD

I use a additional power source for the USB devices, 2,5" HDDs work just fine that way. Just had no chance so far to get any USB keyboard running, USB mouses work fine even the power hungry ones.
