Brand Association:
Maemo = Nokia, Linux (what's that?)
Android = HTC, Motorola, LG, Samsung, Google, Toshiba laptop!...

Not popular for device manufacturers because of:
Niche consumer market:
Maemo = Nokia, Linux (what's that?)
Android = HTC, Motorola, LG, Samsung, Google, Toshiba laptop!...

So, the next question should be; which influenced which?
