My two cents on this issue...
I will never buy another Nokia device. I explain myself. Nokia built a fantastic gadget, the best I've seen, much better than any around. In fact, it's a tiny computer with a graphics card opengl capable. Then Nokia ports a crappy map software like Ovi Maps x.xx.xxx (no matter what version, they are all useless) which barely moves on the device and uses no hardware capabilities of the n900. And then, someone brings a software like cloudgps that it shows you what Nokia should have done since the beginning, I mean, use the graphic hardware acceleration that was build in your device by your Nokia engineers.
There isn't any word in this world to explain how I felt when I saw this piece of software doing what should have come built in my n900. Nokia made a fantastic device and then let it die with a bunch of "malware", instead of developing its capacities. I felt frustrated, angry, looking for answers. And then, Nokia says there will be no further support for Maemo. So I'll close the door to Nokia devices from now on. I love my n900, but Nokia finally made I hate them.
