Great replies. Nokia has done it right giving us a choice. My decision was based on price and functionality. Try to think of what you need it to do and maybe the decision will be easier. The non glare screen would be nice, but I can't justify double the price for that and a slide out keyboard. I couldn't afford to spend $450 to $500 for the N810 but $229 for the N800 was a great deal. Anyway, I have a laptop so if I were to have to do any "overnight on the road" business I'd use that.
The N800 is mainly for keeping in touch with the office when I'm mobile to see if any e-mails have come in and to be able to quickly reply if needed. I don't have any problem with using the touch screen so replies aren't difficult. Skype lets me speak with friends and clients overseas. (Can't wait for video) Just this morning I was out on errands and logged on at an ACE hardware before I continued to the next stop. An e-mail told me I needed to get back here to handle business and a quick reply told them I was on the way.
I already have a GPS which I use very seldom. I hear a map feature will be included with the N800 OS upgrade. I also use it for playing tunes so the removable SD card keeps the music flowing or the video playing. Lots of options. The N800 far exceeds my expectation.
Whichever you choose I think you'll be very happy.
