Hah! I just saw the tag below that reads 'dan the troll'. It would appear that the irony of posting that tag is missed on the person that put it there, and I laughed. Hard.

Despite the attempt at a personal attack, it does make me think along these lines: I feel that it just bolsters my feeling that pointing out the strengths and weaknesses of Maemo vs Android is hitting a nerve. The sad part of that is that I really wanted Nokia to provide the winning pocket-sized Linux OS device and it's failed to do so even while they were the FIRST ones to really carve out that space for themselves and were at the top when they had Internet Tablets--that is, before they produced a "me too!" device to compete with the likes of the iPhone.

By now, we really should have had an honest-to-God Galaxy Tab-like Maemo device instead of a step-4-of-5 phone that they shoehorned a tablet OS onto. What do you think?
