decompressing the archive for you, so you can skip this step... upload will take time as its much slower compared to download

until then what you can try is

sudo gainroot
cd /home/user/MyDocs
bzip2 -d NITDroid-0.0.9.tar.bz2

sudo gainroot may do the trick which the root isnt...
