My opinion... no. MeeGo will require that the user brings a lot of knowledge to the table in order to get it to where it'll be the same level as most other OS's. Ovi dragged behind all other app stores, I anticipate the same.

Connections to enterprise solutions (read: MS Exchange especially) will continue to lag behind (read: non-provisioned in 2010, really!?).

Apps are either genius for being from smaller developers and/or community based or downright crappy when larger developer or OEM based (which... is rather telling).

The more I look at it, MeeGo will probably end up coming out, be a great OS and then the wait game will start for the apps to come out. People will complain, the community will deliver some seriously awesome things... and it will not be enough because it's not Unreal Engine based and/or as full-featured platform X or platform Y's implementation of that same thing or service (read: Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook).

But out of the box, my expectations on MeeGo are very low. Higher than iOS 1.0, but lower than WebOS or even WP7.
