So basically, just show good manners and use common sense.

The only non-obvious one is about customising the wallpaper, I don't typically use photos for that, photos of people tend not to match my theme and don't look nice covered in icons. I guess I could maybe have a photo as a widget or something so it only takes up a small part of the homescreen and doesn't detract from the look or get covered by icons.
