If this isn't true, which it probably isn't, I'm not looking forward to countless folk yapping away about it coming, and then yapping away about it not having come as if it was owed them.

If this is true, I'm not looking forward to waiting while Power Kernel gets updated to the latest features, until whatever dual-booting method is picked gets re-adapted to work with multiboot (which I personally don't like, but whatever, the masses have chosed in) and u-boot... I'm kinda hoping they'll stick with u-boot or kexec IF this is actually true.

Not getting my hopes up, though I would love to see yet another instance of people *****ing about how Nokia doesn't support the N900 and doesn't give any updates or listen to their community, only to be shut up, however temporarily, again. (Seriously, ever since before PR1.2:
"OMG-nokia-sux-support-our-os-blah-bs-blah"
*Update comes*
"OMG Update - does it solve world hunger? No? And all my extras-devel **** broke? And fixes didn't get released in five minutes? OMG-nokia-sux-doesn't-support-our-device"
...great for the popcorn business though.)
