Hi Jade..Thanks for that rapid reply. I tried disconnecting the internet connection and tried flashing by pressing the "u" button ..but all i see is - the orange led is glowing continuously (not blinking) and after some time the logo "NOKIA" (without any light) shown on the screen and then vibrates and then repeating to show this logo.. and then the orange led Any other clue?

Adding to the above, I'm using Windows XP 2000 professional Version 2002 SP3
