I just don't understand how a kernel that does what you suspect (however well informed you may be, and however well you understand yourself) you want, is better than a kernel that can suit you just as well, with two-three commands entered in X-Term more effort, and which you can also change and adapt if your desires and needs change. Well, I 'understand', the way I understand people who get frustrated and hit their children/spouses. I understand human psychology and can put myself in mental simulations of psychological predispositions of other people well enough that I can get it. But I disagree with it, I guess, is the point. *Shrug* If you're sure it makes you happy, by all means. Though do keep in mind, while you CAN run the older kernels with PR1.3, it's not necessarily a great idea: PR1.2 brought in an entirely new version of the kernel, if I recall correctly, and PR1.3 made some changes to it too. So you may find that stuff that depends on certain aspects of the kernel just doesn't work with Lehto's. But hey, you obviously have made your decision. Recommendations have been given otherwise, and if you ever decide you want to switch, reflashing is pretty easy. No point in non-stop nagging you otherwise. Also, regardless of whether you're male or female, always nice to see a new N900 user: Welcome to the forums.
