Im curious about this too.
My story is that I installed nitdroid 0.0.9 without a memorycard, then installed gingerbread on top of that, and it all worked fine. Then I reinstalled 0.0.9 on top of that again, which made 2.2 not work at all, and thn did gingerbread over it again, and it all went to hel.
So basically I want to remove it all and start fresh with 0.0.9 again.
Do I need to remove these files and folders or can I simply do the mount /dev/mmcblk0p2 /and -o noatime and then nitdroid-uninstall, and go right back to installing 0.0.9 again?
EDIT
OK tried doing "mount /dev/mmcblk0p2 /and -o noatime" followed by nitdroid-uninstall, into doing what the post on the front page here said to do to install.
This happened;
/and # dpkg -i /home/user/MyDocs/NITDroid-kernel-Mido.Fayad.deb
(Reading database ... 41966 files and directories currently installed.)
Preparing to replace nitdroid-kernel-2.6.28-06 final1 (using .../NITDroid-kernel-Mido.Fayad.deb) ...
Deleting leftover 2.6.28.NIT.06 modules in Android...
Deleting leftover 2.6.28.NIT.06 modules in Maemo...
Unpacking replacement nitdroid-kernel-2.6.28-06 ...
Setting up nitdroid-kernel-2.6.28-06 (final1) ...
Copying 2.6.28.NIT.06 essential modules to Maemo...
Running depmod...
Creating item file for multiboot
sh: /dev/mmcblk0p2: unknown operand
/and #
which basically means I have no idea what Im doing and need help to clean this mess up so I can start over =)
