Anywhere. The default PDF viewer should be able to find them anywhere the stock file manager can find them. (If you use normal mass storage mode, it's anywhere you can stick them from there. If you're doing something fancy, like SSH'ing or using a more advanced file manager or X-Terminal to get access to the whole file system, anywhere inside /home/user/MyDocs/ works.)
