Again: the N810 is not a direct replacement for the N810. It's an adjunct. With that in mind, there would have been no real harm in even releasing them simultaneously.

And don't confuse the hardware with the software. There's nothing unusual in refining the software at this point given what I said about flashing. More time for bug finding and fixing, right? Which is a GOOD thing.
