I would like to see more optimized public transit navigation apps that use the GPS and real-time arrival info. I realize the Google Maps API doesn't allow access to transit data, so maybe it will have to be on a case by case basis...
... which is a way of putting forth my perhaps somewhat niche desire to see a nice app for the great OneBusAway system for the King County (Seattle, WA) Metro system (

). Ports exist for Iphone, Android, WP7, Blackberry; its all open source, any takers? I can figure out what I need now with their mobile website, but for navigating one handed on the fly in the rain while walking around town nothing beats a well designed app.
Oh, and to return to one of my old hobby horses, a full-blooded, touch-optimized Anki port would be sweet (

And of course there is the dreaming -- Netflix, Wordlens, Zipcar, etc proprietary closed etc...
