Hi,
I was wondering if there're any discernible explanations as to why my phone would not charge over a standard Nokia wall charger? It charges fine over a USB port. I even bought a new Nokia AC-10X charger. As an experiment, I also tried connecting my standard (and also tried it with a blackberry) cable. Both allow charging and data connection over a computer USB, but fail when I connect it to my universal charger with a USB port.
I understand certain dumb chargers won't allow charging unless a couple of the pins are shorted, but I used the same Nokia chargers.
I used 'lshal -m' and registered some output for the computer USB connection, but none whatsoever when connected straight to a power source.
I'm hoping this is more a software matter.. and if so, I have installed a couple of softwares recently, and one of the only ones that I can imagine that would cause such a problem was the h-e-n program (even then i'm very doubtful), which enables USB OTG include a VBUS 5V boost (which I did try out).
Thanks.
