Here is an updated sketch I made:

Why has the order of the ports changed?
To maximize functionality.

Why do the sockets contain flaps?
To protect them from trauma, splash and dirt.

Why does the battery have a flap?
The entire exterior is made of two elements; the large glass-face and the scratchproof aluminium unibody.

What is the Magic Lock?
It is a small metallic section which is compatible with the current laptop lock key and holes, however it also integrates a connection to charge the device aswell as connect it to peripherals such as the keyboard and dualscreen accessories.
