For X-Terminal installation you need to have rootsh from extras installed. Then it is

cd /YourFolderHere
sudo gainroot
preenv
dpkg -i YourGamePackage.deb

Edit: Nitdroid is a try to port Android OS to N900, as far as i know still without telephony working, but i do not fully care
