Can anybody please help me access the shared folder with pictures on my Windows 7 Professional 64bit machine?

If I use the regular Media Player that came with the N900 it does find the videos and play them correctly (so the sharing on Windows side is set up correctly), but I can't use the regular Media Player to view pictures (because it was not designed to do that) and I read somewhere here that MediaBox is great at that but I am having problems with the Storage & Network section of the MediaBox - it never loads up.
Can somebody please help me out?
Is there any other program that would help me view pictures in the shared Windows folder?
