In answer to 3 you can use your Microsoft Office compatible files on the N900 if you have the correct software. "Word to Go", "Sheet to Go" and "Slideshow to Go" provide read/edit capability for Word, Excel and Powerpoint files. This assumes you have the files on device or the microSDHC. Can you remotely access your files on the PC from N900? Someone else who has done it would be better equipped to answer that question.
