Medfield is supposed to be out this year actually. Intel just isn't talking about it yet. The CPU code name is Penwell btw. I think the fact that there is a bug report with attached powertop log showing a max clock speed of 1.6Ghz for the secret MeeGo 1.2 reference device is enough to prove that it is actually using a Penwell CPU. Moorestown, as you said, was only supposed to hit 1.5Ghz. Now, they've been testing these devices since Dec 1 or so, how long does it take Intel to go from engineering sample to production? It takes AMD about 5 months to do it for their Bulldozer CPU, the only info I could
find
quickly. So, I will optimistically wait for a May release
