Does this happen for all your chat accounts (jabber, skype ...)

I tried to reduce this messages, for example in a prior version
I got offline messages from every contact every time my own
connection closed.
It is difficult to distinguish between status changes from your contacts
and those status changes you get when you go online.
And it seems the chat-services behave differently.

Email and phone notification? What is wrong with the
builtin notifications?
