just install ovi suite so can you can usb tether

then uninstall ovi suite

the usb tether drivers should then be left in your windows installation - uninstalling ovi suite does not uninstall the drivers

plugging in n900 from this point on in pc suite mode should then cause windows to treat it as a usb modem

then setup a usb dial up connection as normal

dont need any fancy
