This video shows the fragments in much more detail. The fragments can not only be vertical panes, but also horizontal/grid like layouts. A good one to watch!

IMNSHO, Honeycomb is a major step forward for Android. The UI seems much more cohesive than previous versions, but it's easy to see that they are still incredibly flexible in addition to this. They are also very smooth.
