My n900 was rebooting when i opened the keyboard for a few days, it works fine now though, and I think cleaning the SIM fixed it. I guess it could have been the battery contacts too though. But yeah, clean first, then replace if it's still working intermittently. Since you bought it used it's hard to know it's not the phone
