I bought mine back in early December (at the $350 price point), so yeah, I do think it is worth it. Then again, this is the only cell phone in the world that runs a real Linux distribution as its OS (no rooting or jailbreaking required), so for me, it was head and shoulders above the competition. My understanding is that the n900 was somewhere around $600 when it first came out, so the price has dropped quite a bit. Honestly, I'm not enough of a Nokia follower to really know what the company is doing, but there is a huge industry event coming up next week, and everyone seems to think Nokia will make some sort of announcement at it... So it might be worth it to sit back and see what happens.
