Tax + tolls make around 30% premium to US prices for here (Finland). The rest is just market differentiation by companies; basically politics. But it depends pretty much on the product if the final difference is 30% or 100%.

Personally I haven't noticed that cheap dollar to us euro users would make any difference. It probably does in some industry though.
