When looking at the picture second time, it looks like normal USB on all three ends, this is not correct, miniUSB is needed for 770 side. This is first time I see normal USB on 2.5" enclosure. Better get another one like this http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.669, they also have adapters to miniUSB but that would need another female to female and would look ugly.

As for the high speed kernel - search this forum for answers.
