Okay. This is what I found. DC 1.2.24 Changing notifications only takes effect once you close DC. If you have checked SMS but not checked Notifications, you will still receive them. Only refreshing the messages will not remove the blinking LED. So to suddenly remove notifications, uncheck everything and then close DC. To activate notifications, change the settings and then close DC. I hope that makes sense to you.
