I got a facebook account to get in touch with just one person from my past, with whom I failed to exchange contact information with back in the day. Besides that, I never had it through highschool, and go on once a month or so... There's absolutely nothing in the mindless chatter environment of facebook that makes it worth being there. I can talk to almost everyone through far less needlessly public means, that are more conducive to just the communication itself.

But yes, good for you. If you quit, I applaud you. I wouldn't have ever gotten on had it not been for necessity anyway.
