A number of years ago, the division of the company that I work for bet the farm on MS o/s, I can tell you that we have been paying(in more ways than I can care to count) ever since, it has been effecting negatively on the entire product cycle starting from development to the end product delivery and support. The unfortunately thing is that the bed has been made,so turning back is no longer possible(without massive music-chair game on the top leadership level). In my view, Nokia, will suffer the same. I am not familiar with what other money-making business that Nokia has. If phone is their main bread and butter; than all I can say is really good luck.
Shareholders will suffer in the end.
