Well, I guess I spoke too soon. After I posted this, I checked my email, and what do you know, I had the link to download Garnet VM. I tried myself to install SlingPlayer (trial) through a SD card inserted into my N800, after I installed the Garnet VM. The software works, but it would not allow me to add my Slingbox into the Slingbox directory. It kept getting stuck at the password and acted like I hadn't entered the password in correctly (said password must be less than 21 characters). Otherwise, I was not able to try and connect to my Slingbox, so alas, I'll have to wait for someone more clever than I! If anyone gets somewhere with this, you've got an anxious Slingbox owner eagerly awaiting to watch his Slingbox on their N800.
