Good for Mr Elop, really? So you think it is good he is screwing up Nokia for personal gain? If that is his motivation, it is sociopathic behaviour, and it is not doing the job he is employed to do. It wouldn't be terribly surprising if it is the case because sociopaths are the type of people that tend to do well in the modern business would, but they generally aren't good for society as a whole.

There is the possibility that he genuinely thinks this is the best course for Nokia and isn't just looking out for his own personal finances over that of the company he is supposed to be running, but there isn't enough information for me to decide conclusively which it is. All I can say that on balance with what I know, the scales tip slightly towards him just being a selfish bastard not giving a **** about what happens to Nokia.
