I normally use only the widget - which is AWESOME! So for me improvements there will be more useful. My main problem with the widget is that it doesn't load correctly number's type(e.g. mobile, home, work etc.) every time it reloads(after reboot or app update). So by double clicking on the contact icon in widget I end up calling not the mobile(default) number of the given contact, but some other number. So I have to remember to check all contacts after reboot and correct their numbers' type manually. I noticed one and same contacts get their numbers wrong, so it became an easier task, but none the less it is a nuisance.
zlatko:
There is one known issue with the "standard contacts app". When you you create a contact "by default" the address book will show phones as "cell" but when saving it will not save the "phone" as a "cell". Later, it shows on the "standard contacts" as cell but it won't be recognized by any other application using qt mobility (like mycontacts) as cell.

To fix the issue you just need to edit the contact on the "standard contacts application", change the phone type to "something else" and then back to "cell". You will only need to do that once per contact - restarting the phone should not affect this at all.

EDIT: this is the link to the bug
