How could you say Maemo is dead when you have a community such as this providing information and applications for older Maemo devices? Especially with the community updates? How it it logical to say Maemo is dead???
Why trade 5 generations of Maemo for some rumored mythical MeeGo that to the best of my knowledge - no one has REALLY seen or experimented with (besides a few cute screens of an alpha/beta).
Saying Maemo is dead is like saying Linux is dead, it is kind of silly. I personally believe that the N900 along with Maemo 5 was released to see what we the people and the developers would do and to push the limits, and we are still pushing the limits with new kernels and drivers.
I haven't really heard any real answers to my questions. "The extra .5" of screen and the lower resolution is better for my aging eyes and it has a faster processor, and more storage, and it is rumored to have a better keyboard!" - Well looks like you read a bunch of leaked articles and made your decision based off of that.
